Infant and Child Osteopathy at HTC

Children, like adults, can be affected by joint and muscle issues. As such, they sometimes need Infant Osteopathy to ease these issues.

Growth stages vary hugely, our osteopath will tailor the treatment to the individual child and their needs.

Therapists at HTC are level 3 Child protection certificated to promote awareness and knowledge for safeguarding our youngsters.

We ask that all minors attending treatment at our centre are accompanied by a parent or chaperone.

Parents visit osteopaths for a range of reasons to support their child’s health from newborn through to 17 years of age.

Our osteopath uses a wide range of gentle hands-on treatment techniques that focus on releasing tension, improving mobility, and optimising function.  She is also trained in very gentle techniques that are suitable for assessing and treating newborn babies and infants.

At HTC our osteopath specialises in treating children from Newborn babies to 17-year-old teenagers.

This will be dependent upon the condition in question and also the child’s current growth development.

If you are unsure as to the appropriateness for your child to attend our therapy unit then please contact us and we will be more than happy to answer your queries.

Should we feel a more specialised appropriate colleague is required then we will endeavour to assist you in making contact with them.
