Pilates – Exercise Classes

Pilates

Pilates focuses on the full body’s alignment, ideal range of motion at the joints, and a balance of all opposing muscles. It improves posture by bringing awareness to your alignment and strengthening neglected postural muscles.

Pilates is a type of mind-body exercise developed in the early 20th century by German physical trainer Joseph Pilates, after whom it was named. Pilates called his method “Contrology”

Exercise Classes at Hempstead Therapy Centre

We are happy to be offering pilates classes at HTC.  Pilates is offered as a 1-hour class. 

Initial courses are aimed at the beginner level.

Class numbers are limited to 5 attendees with the purpose of providing a more personalised input from our instructor than larger groups would normally facilitate.

The classes we are offering are designed to complement the range of physical therapies that we offer at the centre and are supported by our range of therapists.
